  avenger : Why am I not surprised you hale from the Netherlands. While I'm sure there are a few good dutchmen on this earth, my abuser was (is) one too.   Cassiline : You presume too much too. It took me a while to figure out what is meant by troll on this site. xjw_b12 accused me of that earlier and I thought he meant the kind under the bridge and had to sleep with the light on that night. Give me time to get up to speed here before judging me too harshly.

  berylblue : There IS quite a difference between murder and addiction. The point is you can't serve two masters. Nicotine is a severe slave master. Love for Jehovah and prayer can overcome a lot though. And don't be so sorry !!!! Life is good ... northern girl.

  Andy : You assume too much. My abuser was not and is not a witness. So the whole lotta stuff go'n on may be mostly in someones imagination. Seems strange that just after all news about the priests hit the fan, someone conveniently found all this trouble brewing in the society.

  Andy : My point about abuse being kept behind closed doors is directed to adults who can speak for themselves. I can't explain why but it just is a fact that we keep quiet until there is a breaking point. A little self respect can go a long way but you lose that along the way ... get it beaten out of you. Then you snap ... you or me buddy ... and eventually you get to be who you used to be. If you haven't been there you will never understand the pain!!

  Now children is a different story. They are to be protected at all costs. The way I see it, someone is really not even human to hurt a child in any way. I've been out of the loop for quite a while so don't much about the abuse problem in the society. Yes, I own a tv and read newspapers so I should be more informed but am not.

  At least you are colourful ... lol ... northern girl.
